Feature and Follow is a weekly feature hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read.
The aim is to make new friends in the book blogging community and discover new blogs.
Question of the week:
I can remember reading various Enid Blyton books and others that I can't remember the name of now. The first book I remember reading and falling in love with is Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. I also began to read A Series of Unfortunate Events a few years later which became the second series that I loved.
Harry Potter was also among my first reads! :)

Deletethose are both great sets of books to read.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed them! :)
DeleteOh nice! Not familiar with that one! I remember reading Harry Potter in 6th grade. So it was a few years after its release. Our teacher was reading it to us and by then I didn't do well with people reading to me because I like reading at my own pace. But there were times I really found myself listening to this story! And I think it was that Christmas I got the first book and started reading it nonstop! LOL!

Our teacher read it to us too but I didn't like being read to either as I'm a fast reader and preferred to read on my own haha. I read it nonstop too! :P
DeleteYou're the second one I've seen Enid Blyton on. I'm going to have to find her books to read with little man! And who doesn't love HP?! I didn't read them til I was older (college I think) but still they were good. Just finished a reread of the series with little man and he loved them too!

I absolutely loved the Harry Potter books when I was younger. I reread them so many times! My favorite is definitely book three. I'm an old follower through bloglovin'. :)

Me too! I'm planning another reread later in the year too as it's been a while :)
DeleteI used to be a complete Enid Blyton fiend when I was younger. I think my favourites were the Faraway Tree series. Old follower!

I'm not sure if I read those ones! I'm going to look them up :)
DeleteI completely forgot about A Series of Unfortunate Events! I always wanted to read the whole series, but I would always stop reading after book three or four. I really need to try again! I loved Nancy Drew books when I was younger (still do), and it has always been a goal of mine to collect all of them!

Aww I would definitely recommend completing the series! I loved them all :) Ohh I've never read a Nancy Drew book before! I should check them out. I hope you can collect them all!
DeleteIt was a couple of middle grade books, since I was 11 years old when I first started reading. Tamara something... A Quebequense series. But we could say one of my first series was The Princess Diaries. :) And Meg Cabot slowly became my favorite author, I remembered devouring everything in my library by her. Now, though, it's been years since I've read anything by her, but I'm thinking about reading her Mediator series :)
ReplyDeleteI have actually never read anything by Meg Cabot! I love the movie of The Princess Diaries and always said I would read the books but have never got around to it. I have seen a lot of love for Meg Cabot though so I hope you enjoy the Mediator series if you read it :)
