July 2015 Most Anticipated Releases

Thursday 2 July 2015

It's that time to look at what books are coming out in the month ahead!

Here are my picks for July 2015:

"Perfect for fans of Pretty Little Liars and Heist Society, readers will be clamoring for this compelling teen drama with a political twist."

"In this emotionally haunting and beautifully written young adult debut, Meg Haston delves into the devastating impact of trauma and loss, while posing the question: Why are some consumed by their illness while others embark on a path toward recovery?"

"Maggie and Nash are outsiders. She’s overweight. He’s out of the closet. The best of friends, they have seen each other through thick and thin, but when Tom moves to town at the start of the school year, they have something unexpected in common: feelings for the same guy. This warm, witty novel—with a clear, true voice and a clever soundtrack of musical references—sings a song of love and forgiveness."

"In an exhilarating new series, New York Times bestselling author Rachel Caine rewrites history, creating a dangerous world where the Great Library of Alexandria has survived the test of time.…"

"I could never fit in to the life my parents demanded. By the time I was thirteen, it was too much. I ran away to New York City…and found a nightmare that lasted three years. A nightmare that began and ended with a pimp named Luis. Now I am Dirty Anna. Broken, like everything inside me has gone bad. ... Except that for the first time, I have a chance to start over. ... The only problem is that someone in my school knows about New York. Someone knows who I really am. And it’s just a matter of time before the real Anna is exposed…"

"Go Set a Watchman features many of the characters from To Kill a Mockingbird some twenty years later. Returning home to Maycomb to visit her father, Jean Louise Finch—Scout—struggles with issues both personal and political, involving Atticus, society, and the small Alabama town that shaped her."

Most excited for: Ink and Bone by Rachel Caine
I'm also particularly looking forward to The Fixer as I love a good thriller. I'm intrigued about Go Set a Watchman as I enjoyed To Kill a Mockingbird and I just hope it lives up to all the hype it is receiving.

What books are you most looking forward to this month?

  1. Some of these look really interesting. I’m also looking forward to Go Set A Watchman. I should probably reread To Kill A Mockingbird first. It’s been a lot of years since I read it.

  4. Very eager to read Go Set a Watchman. I'm wondering what could happen that warranted a sequel for To Kill a Mockingbird.
