I feel like I haven't read that many books this year. I think it's because I haven't completed my goodreads challenge yet of 50 books but I'm only a few behind and 50 is a big number! It's probably also due to the fact that I've had a lot of reading and blogging slumps this year but I finally have some motivation again and it's good to be back!
These were my favourite reads of 2017:
Do we share any 2017 favourites? Let me know!
OOoh nice! I enjoyed Crooked Kingdom and Warcross as well! Great picks! I still need to read ACOWAR but ACOMAF made my list! Lol.
ReplyDeleteHere's my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
I'm glad to hear ACOMAF made your list! Hopefully youll like ACOWAR just as much! :)
DeleteAlmost everyone so far has Eleanor Oliphant on their list (I particularly like the matchstick cover!). I have a copy of Warcross sitting on my shelf that I haven't read yet - nice to see it in someone's top 10! :)
ReplyDeleteEleanor was a big surprise for me this year but I'm glad to see so many others liked it too! Hope you enjoy Warcross as much as I did when you get around to reading it! :)
DeleteI was really excited for ONE OF US IS LYING, but I didn't end up loving it. I like that there are some YA mysteries out there. Not many, but some.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any of your other picks, although most of them are on my TBR mountain chain somewhere. I'm glad you enjoyed them.
Happy TTT!
Aww, that's a shame! I have definitely seen mixed reviews for that one though. I Would love to see some more YA mysteries. Hopefully you'll get to some of my top reads one day! :)
DeleteThis year I`ve started The Grisha trilogy and completely fell in love with Leigh Bardugo`s writing. I can`t wait to get to the Six of Crows duology.
ReplyDeleteCarmen`s Reading Corner
I read the Grisha trilogy for the first time this year too and also fell in love with Bardugo's writing. I hope you love the Six of Crows books! They're just as good :)
DeleteThe Hate U Give is one of the books I should have read this year but still haven't. However, I haven't heard a single soul not LOVING it, and I have no doubt that I should read it and enjoy as well. I love the spotlight it's been getting, and all of the themes it touches upon interest me a lot. I shouldn't postpone it anymore! IT IS GETTING DONE! Warcross made it to my list as well!
ReplyDeleteHere's my TTT: https://bookslikewolves.wixsite.com/blog/single-post/2017/12/12/Blogmas-Day-12-Top-17-Books-of-2017
I definitely recommend you read THUG! I think it's definitely worth the hype it's getting and it's great to see so many people loving it. Glad you loved Warcross too! I can't wait for the sequel.
DeleteThe Hate You Give is one of those books that I NEED to read. Everyone keeps talking about that book and saying that it's so good. I'm super excited to read it.
ReplyDeleteI really hope you enjoy it! It's definitely worth the hype in my opinion and one of those books that sticks with you.
DeleteHi! I want to get to so many of these! There's never enough time :)

There really is never enough time! If only we could read everything! :)
DeleteThey are all books that I have on my TBR 😂🤦🏽♀️
ReplyDeleteFor the most part of the year I read almost nothing, but in the 2 months I have been catching up! Trying to reach 20, which is super low but better than nothing! 😝
I still need to read THUG and One of Us is Lying, I love Crooked Kingdom and ACOWAR!
ReplyDeleteCrooked kingdom and one of us is lying were big favs of mine this year as well. I still need to read warcross, I’ve heard such good things
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely list, I really like all your picks! I'm kind of ashamed to say that I have read only two out of all these (Daughter of Smoke and Bone & One of Us is Lying), but all of the others are on my TBR and I can't wait to get to them, especially Crooked Kingdom and THUG.
